The  SMZ(Type  43  )series  originally  are  designed  for  use  in  Type  43  Digital  Distribution  Frames  (DDF)of  BT  (British  Telecom),meet  the  requirements  of  BS  9210  F0022  (British  Standard).  The  special  locking  feature  which  prevents  accidental  disconnection  make  the  system  more  reliable.  They  are  now  widely  used  in  telecommunications  swithing  equipment.
